Dr Umar Jan

Dr. Umar Jan is President – European Operations at Sabinsa Europe GmbH and is handling the technical aspects of Sabinsa’s European sales to describe a robust portfolio of proprietary, science-backed ingredients. Umar received a Doctorate in Biophysical Chemistry from Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Umar also has an Executive MBA degree from Mannheim Business School, a top most business school in Germany. He has acquired 10 years of work experience from distinguished research institutes at an international level (Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and European Molecular Biology Laboratory – Heidelberg). As a post-doctorate fellow at EMBL, he was selected for the prestigious CO-FUND Marie Curie and EMBO-long term fellowship. Dr. Umar Jan has published several articles in high impact peer-reviewed journals such as Nature, Nature Methods, Nature Communications, EMBO and JBC.
