Stefanie Sahmel

Stef’s background is in project and programme management in the Aerospace industry prior to joining Abel & Cole in 2005, having been a customer and fallen in love with the business and its purpose. Throughout her almost seventeen years with the organic online retailer Stef has worked in several different operational and project management roles as part of the Senior Leadership Team before becoming Head of Sustainability in 2019. In her current role, alongside a team of four, Stef spearheads the business’ sustainability initiatives and oversees all elements of the company’s carbon emissions and food waste reduction plans, refillable and sustainable packaging projects and B Corp certification.
