Sanne Stroosnijder

Sanne Stroosnijder brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the forefront of sustainable practices within the agri-food sector. Committed to addressing the global challenge of food loss and waste (FLW), Sanne plays a pivotal role in developing innovative solutions that align with the principles of the circular economy. As Program Manager at Wageningen University & Research she is a driving force for FLW initiatives that bridge the gap between academia and industry, fostering collaborations that result in practical, impactful solutions. Sanne is also part of the Dutch Food Waste Free United Foundation with over 120 stakeholders from the full food supply chain, working closely together to deliver SDG 12.3 and reduce food loss and waste in the Netherlands by 50% in 2030. In her presentation, Sanne will explore the untapped potential of agri-food side streams and how they can be harnessed to create value as well as positive impact within the circular economy framework.
