I am a doctoral researcher interested in improving population health through healthy, sustainable, and more compassionate diets. I trained as a dietitian at the University of Naples (Italy) and then as global health nutritionist at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. In 2018, I joined the Action on Salt & Sugar (AoSS) research group based at Queen Mary University of London. My doctoral project focusses on the health impacts of saturated fat reformulation to reduce calorie intake, obesity, and cardiovascular disease in the UK population. Currently, I am working on a project looking at the nutritional quality of plant-based meat products available in the UK.
