Miriam Pein-Hackelbusch

Miriam Pein-Hackelbusch studied pharmacy at the University of Hamburg from 2000-2004 before she got licensed as pharmacist in 2005. In 2008, she received her doctoral degree at the University of Duesseldorf. Her ongoing research focuses the quality control of drugs and drug substances with particular view on taste as critical quality attribute and the reliability of sensing surrogates. Since 2016, she is holding an endowed professorship (SEPAWA eV) at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Ostwestfalen-Lippe (TH OWL), where she became part of the “smartFoodTechnologyOWL“ partnership.
