María Naranjo

María Naranjo studied Law and Economics at the Jesuit University of Madrid. She also completed postgraduate studies in Monetary Economics at Stanford University. She has been a civil servant in the Ministry of Economy and Finance since 1997. María has collaborated with Multilateral Financial Institutions and was appointed as Chief of Staff at the Competition Authority in 2008, where she served for six years. Throughout most of her professional career, she has been involved in promoting the internationalization of the Spanish Economy. She has worked at ICEX for over 15 years, holding various positions. In 2017, she was appointed Director of the Agrifood Industry.
