Kim Olofsson

Kim is an experienced R&D leader responsible for AAK’s global long-term product and technology development. He’s focus is on science and new technologies that can enable healthier, tastier and more sustainable food ingredients. AAK is continuously increasing the efforts to provide new specialty oils and fats solutions through various collaborations and initiatives with industry partners, start-ups and academia. Kim has a chemical engineering background with a PhD in biotechnology form Lund University, Sweden, and extensive experience of industrial R&D. He has a genuine interest in novel and renewable products, processes, and technologies.
