Brian Power

University College of London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Brian is a registered dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council. Currently, he is a director of the British Dietetic Association and sits on the European Federation of the Associations of Dietitians Research and Evidence Based Practice Committee. In his academic and clinical roles, he contributes to research-based advances and leads research with a particular focus on understanding eating practices. He was awarded a Council for Allied Health Professional Research Public Health Research Award in 2016, a Dame Barbara Clayton Award in 2017, which recognises innovation and excellence in dietetics and a Complete Nutrition writer of the year in 2019. His work is characterised by an interdisciplinary focus (e.g. health services research, dietetics, public health and health psychology).
