Alvaro Nadal

He was elected Member of the Parliament of Spain in 2008 where he served until 2019.Before joining the Department for Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda, Alvaro Nadal was Minister, Chief of the Economic Bureau of the Prime Minister of Spain (2011-2016).He was Deputy General for Evaluation of EU Funds at the Department for Economic Affairs and Finance, 2004; Head of the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Israel (2001-2003); International Adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister (1999-2000).He is a State Economist and Trade Expert, graduated in Law and Economics from ICADE University in Madrid and completed his studies as Visiting Ph.D. Student in Economics at Harvard University (1997-1998).He speaks fluent English, German and French.
