In this masterclass, we’re joined by three communication experts, Registered Dietitians, Dr Kathryn O’Sullivan, and Cheryl McGregor and Donia Hilal, Nutritionist. They will explain key nutrition and health communication considerations for nutritional supplement brands.
Drawing on their food industry and health writing backgrounds, they will help you understand the importance of evidence-based and industry-compliant copy, with a particular focus on Great Britain/EU Nutrition, Health and Botanical Claims legislation.
This masterclass will include plenty of interactive workshops and breakout sessions so that you can put your knowledge to good practice. Dr Kathryn O’Sullivan
Dr. Kathryn O’Sullivan is a Nutrition Scientist and Registered Dietitian, specialising in public health communications.
Kathryn holds a B.Sc. in Human Nutrition and a Ph.D in clinical medicine from Trinity College Dublin, and has over 25 years of experience working in the food industry and academia.
With 10 years international experience working for the Kellogg Company throughout Europe and the Middle East markets, Kathryn now works as an independent nutrition consultant providing expertise in nutrition science, marketing, communications and regulatory affairs to international food companies.
She occasionally lectures at universities and health conferences, and has published extensively in peer reviewed journals, healthcare and consumer press.

Cheryl McGregor
Cheryl is a Registered Dietitian and Account Manager at HRS communications – a UK-based nutrition communications agency.
Over the last 16 years, Cheryl has diversified her skill set through working in the NHS, corporate and retail environments. Through her roles as a business, sales and people manager, Cheryl has developed her skills as a coach.

Donia Hilal
Donia is a certified Nutritionist, specialising in supplements.
They have over 6 years of experience as a Nutritionist and also works with clients on a one-to-one basis to support their goals which includes weight lost, prenatal and postnatal nutrition and children’s health.
